I think there is another lesson floating around Cpod called "Green Eggs and Ham"! Any idea whether Ken, Jenny, Amber, Connie, Clay or John or any of the other CPOD staff are big fans of Dr. Seuss?
I heard that the classic the "Cat in the Hat" was to address illiteracy rates among school children. To make it easy to read and learn, the entire book is supposedly constructed using only 220 words. This was then followed up with the "literary tour de force" of "Green Eggs and Ham" which I hear only uses 50 words.
I wonder if there are any equivalent well known Chinese children's books , analogous to the Dr. Seuss series. -- scott -- More>>>
looks underfed Brent. I grew up with a dog and always thought like Ken and Jenny, that cats didnt have much personality and were not social until I took one in. They actualy have very distinct personalities and are much fun. They are more subtle and independent than dogs. Dogs are all kiss-asses but you have to earn a cats respect. :-) -- Joseph -- More>>>
Some cats are really social. It depends on the species in my experience. I had a Burmese cat Squib and she was like a dog. I even trained her to fetch and do tricks for all the students in the dorm. She loved to work the crowd. -- Joseph -- More>>>
