黔驴技穷 【qián lǘ jì qióng】

Introduction:

“qián lǘ jì qióng”. It refers to someone who has exhausted his only capabilities, and is left helpless.

The Guizhou donkey has used up all its tricks; the lion’s skin falls off, and beneath it is only a donkey. It means that be at the end of one’s resources.
