Title: London Bridges

Author: James Patterson

Publisher: Little, Brown and Company.

When a pair of criminal masterminds, the Wolf and the Weasel, threatens the destruction of several of the world’s major cities unless their demands are met, ace-detective, Alex Cross is once again called into action. Joining forces with Scotland Yard and Interpol, Alex fights his way through a torrent of false leads, impersonators, and foreign agents before he gets close to the heart of the crimes.

This is the tenth in a series of Alex Cross thrillers and some critics say that the author, James Patterson, is losing his touch. Nonetheless, he has created another bestseller, which has been praised for its nail biting suspense by die-hard Patterson fans and new readers alike. If you have never read any of his explosive adventures before expect London Bridges to tease you with its hints regarding the identities of the villains as well as pull the rug from under your feet more than once with its unexpected revelations.
