Scene 1 An inverted ice cream, an inverted coffee

Scene 2 The love of an ice cream princess

Quentin named Dorothy his “Ice Cream Princess”. When they were together it seemed like they always had stuff to talk about, it was only that it seemed as if Quentin’s work could never be completed. Therefore, whenever they had a date, Dorothy would always first order an ice cream and slowly eat it while waiting. She never complained. Then, whenever Quentin arrived, shamefaced and apologetic, she would give him a radiant smile and a fresh hot-dog. She knew he wouldn’t have eaten again.

Although in love with an unpunctual monkey, the “Ice Cream Princess” believes perseverance will produce love.

Asking someone to wait
A: Would you please take a seat over there, madam? I’ll let Mr. Emory know that you’re here.
B: Thanks. I can wait here.
A: Well, it may take some time. Mr. Emory’s at a meeting at the moment. It would probably be more comfortable over there.
B: I see. All right, then. Thanks.
