With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, private cars have witnessed an increase in number. Cars with a sign reading “practice” means that the driver has just received his license and cannot drive well, reminding following vehicles or passengers to be careful on the one hand as well as begging their pardon for his or her non-skilled driving which might bring inconveniences to others. Initially, a large number of people elaborately choose humorous slogans to replace “practice”, such as “Please take care of the new driver on the street”, “Don’t kiss me”, etc. All of these phrases are funny and interesting, but hard to be understood and easily lead to traffic accidents. For this reason, new traffic laws have been put forward stipulating that drivers with less than one year of driving experience must put a sign reading “practice” on their cars, which will attract the attention of other drivers, thus preventing and decreasing traffic accidents.
