Crispy Sesame Roll

Crispy Sesame RollTaste: Sweet and delicious.

Features: Golden yellow in color and crispy.

Ingredients:

500 grams (1.1 lb) wheat flour

200 grams (0.44 lb) sesame

150 grams (0.33 lb) sugar

500 grams (1 cup) cooking oil

Directions:

1. Stir-fry the sesame, grind into powder and mix with the sugar.

2. Add 150 g (10 tbsp) of hot water into the flour and mix. Cut the dough into 10 pieces and shape each piece into a thin flat rectangle 1 cm (0.4 thick).

3. Put the oil into the pan and heat it till it is 110-135℃ (230-275℉). Deep-fry the dough strips and quickly bring them out once bubbles appear on their surface. Drain off the oil and put them on the chopping board. Sprinkle the sesame mixture while the strips are still hot. Roll them into long strips and cut into diamond shapes. Now they are ready to serve.
