So we’d visit two more districts

in New Territories today.

哪两个区呢

They are

北区和荃湾区

North District and Tsuen Wan District.

Han Jia, is it the famed Fung Ying

Seen Koon Temple in North District?

没错 这蓬瀛仙馆始创于1929年

Sure. This temple was built in 1929.

它是一座道观

Is it a Taoist temple?

没错 这里除了弘扬道教文化之外

Yes. In addition to the promotion

of Taoism,

还积极参与公益 慈善 还有教育事业

the temple also actively gets involved

in arts and crafts, charity and education.

每年的九月到第二年的六月

From September through June next year,

沙田马场每周都有赛事举行

there are horseracing events every

week at the Sha Tin Racecourse.

这里可是世界上设备最完善的马场之一

It is one the best equipped racecourses

in the world.

It’s an idiom.

西汉时期

During the Western Han Dynasty,

有一个著名将领叫李广

there was a famed general called

Li Guang.

有一天 他去打猎

One day, he went out hunting.

忽然发现草丛中卧着一只猛虎

Suddenlly he found a fierce tiger

crouching in the grass.

李广一惊 抓起弓箭猛力将箭射去

Startled, Li Guang took up his bow and

vigorously shot out an arrow.

可是那只老虎却没有动弹

But the tiger didn’t make any movement.

他走近一看

He went over and took a look.

被射中的竟是一块形状很像老虎的大石头

He found that what he shot at was

actually a tiger-shaped stone.

李广不相信自己能有这么大的力气

Li Guang didn’t believe he could be

so powerful.

他拔箭再次用力向石头射去 一连发了几箭

He aimed at the stone again and shot

out a few more arrows.

大石头却一点儿也没有受到损伤

But the stone remained unscathed.

于是他就去请教学者杨雄

Thus, he went to scholar Yang Xiong

to seek an explanation.

当时你以为遇到了猛虎

“You believed it be a fierce tiger,

所以那一瞬间精神高度集中

so you turned quite concentrated at

that moment.

射出的箭威力无比

The arrow you shot was so powerful that

即使像金属和石头那样坚硬的东西

it was able to crack open

也会被击开的

things as hard as metal and rock.
