During the Qing Dynasty, about
4,000 Xibe
官兵和家属从东北来到新疆伊宁
soldiers and their families were resettled
from northeast China to Xinjiang’s Ining area

for defense purposes.

in the hope of forming an alliance

On the third night, a big fog appears
suddently.
诸葛亮与鲁肃带着这支船队向曹军大营驶去
Zhuge Liang and Lu Su lead the flotilla
toward the Cao army camp.
在接近曹军大营时
When the flotilla is nearing the
Cao camp,
诸葛亮让士兵们擂鼓呐喊
Zhuge Liang asks the soldiers to
beat drums and cry,
造成要攻打曹操的假象
feigning an attack on the Cao army.
江上大雾弥漫 我们不便出击
“In this thick fog, an offensive wouldn’t
be good.
叫士兵们放箭
Order the soldiers to shoot arrows!”
一时间 箭如雨下 射向船队
All of a sudden, arrows rained
on the flotilla.
原来诸葛先生是用这种方法向曹操借箭啊
This is how Mr. Zhuge borrowed
arrows from Cao Cao.
这些船上的箭应该有十万支了吧
“There might be 100,000 arrows
on the boats now.”
就这样 诸葛亮用扎满草人的小船
Thus with these straw boats
