Beijing Olympic – IAAF unveils relay teams for Beijing 2008
The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has announced the names of the relay teams that will compete in the men’s 4×100m, the men’s 4×400m, the women’s 4×100m and the women’s 4×400m events at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. There are 16 teams in each event.
Men’s 4×100m relay:
Brazil, Canada, China, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.
Men’s 4×400m relay:
Australia, the Bahamas, Belgium, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, France, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Jamaica, Japan, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.
Women’s 4×100m relay:
Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, China, Finland, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine and the United States.
Women’s 4×400m relay:
Belarus, Brazil, China, France, Great Britain, Germany, India, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
