There are a lot of queer rock formations

and deep caves.

有的景点要是不看

那就太可惜了

if we didn’t see some of

the scenic spots here,

This past week,

我们结束了在浙江的行程

we concluded our trip in Zhejiang

正式开始了在福建的拍摄

and started filming in Fujian.

一直是每一个中国人的骄傲

我们在瑞安的东源村

In Dongyuan village of Rui’an,

就见识到了古老的活字印刷术

we experience the old removable-type

printing technique.

这种堪称活化石的手工技术

This manual technique, billed

as a living fossil,

仍然在这个村子中代代流传

is still in use in this village.

南麂列岛附近的海域

The sea area around the

Nanji Archipelago

有着种类丰富的海洋生物

teams with a variety of marine life.

是中国的海洋自然保护区之一

It is one of China’s marine

nature reserves.

而岛上美丽的风光

Visitors will be more attracted

更是留住了每一个过往游客的心

by the beautiful scenery on

these islands.

离开温州

After we left Wenzhou,

我们到达了福建的第一站

we arrived in our first stop

in Fujian,

宁德

the city Ningde.

宁德的太姥山

The majestic Taimu Mountain

of Ningde

三面临海 一面背山

is surrounded by the sea

气势雄伟

on three sides.

曲折深邃的岩洞

The winding, deep mountain caves

形成了许多奇特的一线天景观

have many line-of sky spectacles.

太姥山不仅有着众多自然景观

In addition to its many scenic spots,

还有着古刹 碑刻等

Taimu Mountaina also boasts the site

of an ancient temple and many steles

丰富的人文景观

and other places of historical interest

如今 国兴寺的遗址上

At the ruins of Guoxing Temple,

还保存着当年的石柱

the old stone columns help

可以想象当时寺庙的宏大规模

indicate the magnificence of

this temple.

Hey, you’re exaggerating.

差不多嘛

It’s about true.

不过说到“挥汗如雨”这个成语啊

But the idiom “hui han ru yu”

它不光是指人出汗多哦

does not refer to perspiration only.

春秋时期

During the Spring and Autumn Period,

齐国有一个叫晏婴的大臣

there is a minister called

Yan Ying in the state of Qi.

他很有才智

He is very intelligent and witty.

但是身材矮小

But he is short in stature.

有一次 晏婴出使楚国

Once he is on a mission to visit

the state of Chu.

楚国人想挖苦他

Chu officials want to insult him.

便在城门的旁边挖了一个小洞

They dug out a hole in the wall

next to the city gate.

请晏婴从小洞中进城

“We’d like Yan Ying enter the city

through this small hole.”

只有出使狗国的人

“Only an emissary to a

country of dogs

才从狗洞中进城

should enter through a dog-hole.

今天我出使的是楚国

As I’m visiting Chu today,

应该不是从此洞中进城吧

I should not enter the city

through that hole.”

楚国人被奚落了一顿

Hearing Yan Ying’s sarcastic remarks,

只好请晏婴从大门进城

Chu officials cannot but let him

enter the city through the gate.

晏婴去拜见楚王

Yan Ying pays a visit to

the Chu King.

齐国恐怕是没有人了吧

“”Is Qi short of people?”

什么 我们齐国的首都

“No. Our Qi capital city

有七千多户人家

has more than 7,000 households.

人们肩并着肩

If they stand shoulder to shoulder,

展开衣袖可以遮天蔽日

their spread sleeves can blot

out the sky and cover the run.

挥洒汗水就像天上下雨一样

The sweat they wipe off falls

like rain.

怎么能说齐国没有人呢

How could you say Qi is

short of people?”

既然这样

“If it is true,

齐国怎么派你来做使臣呢

why should Qi send you here

as an emissary?”

齐国派遣使臣有个规矩

“Qi has a rule on dispatching emissaries.

贤明的人 就派他去见贤明的国君

Wise emissaries are sent to

meet wise kings.

无能的人 就派他去见无能的国君

Incompetent emissaries are sent

to meet incompetent kings.

我是最无能的人

I am the most incompetent man,

所以就只好出使楚国了

so I have only to visit Chu.”

“挥汗成雨”

The idiom “hui han ru yu”

这则成语的意思是指

literally means

人们抹下的汗水像雨点一样

the sweat wiped off drips like rain.

用来形容人多或天热 出汗多

It is used as a metaphor for

a hot weather.
