The first round competition of the Women’s 200m took place at the National Stadium, also know as the Bird’s Nest, during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 19, 2008. Marshevet Hooker, Muna Lee and Rogaya Al-Gassra ranked 1st in their groups with 23.07seconds, 22.71 seconds and 22.81 seconds, respectively.
