Cir – Lesson 410

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

Beijing is an inclusive and tolerant metropolis that is quickly becoming an immigrants’ city.

Beijing sports a convenient transportation system and well developed banking and medical networks. Correspondence from Beijing is also very convenient. You can share your adventures with your loved ones anytime through the post, emails, international phone calls and a plethora of other communication methods.

When it comes to leisure and entertainment, there are a large number of famous restaurants (both Chinese and Western) spread liberally across Beijing. If it’s a show you want, classical opera, Peking Opera, Concerts, Symphonies, or crosstalk (a form of Chinese stand up comedy,) all enjoy a great deal of popularity. Beijing also has a flourishing bar scene in addition to its more traditional tea houses which are still as crowded as ever.
