Hao3: very much, a lot,
Teng2: hurt,
Ah: used to emphasize how much it hurts
Y: Ok now I guess we can go for a shower.
R: Yea, I’m dripping in my own blood.
Y: Really?
R: Naw, just kidding, I just poured ketchup over myself because it makes my skin feel good.
Y: Ok… that’s weird.

Zhe4er neng2 bu neng2 xi2 zao3?
Zhe4er simply means here,
Neng2: be able to or can do sth,
Bu4: not
neng2 bu neng2: can or can not
xi2 zao3: take a shower

安：很惨。我的成绩超烂，我得去念一家远在三重的学校。
伊恩：怪不得你这么担心托福。
安：我第一次大学联考成绩差到我还得去补习班补习一年，来年重考。
伊恩：真倒霉。你在那之后一定很沮丧。
安：我甚至在那三场联招都碰到生理期。我觉得好不舒服，根本无法清楚思考
Ian: How did you do?
Ann: Poorly. My score was so bad that I had to go to a school way out in Sanchung.
Ian: No wonder you’re so worried about the TOEFL.
Ann: My first college entrance exam score was so low that I had to study at a cram school for a year and retake it.
Ian: What a bummer. You must have been depressed afterwards.
Ann: I was even on my period during all three of the exams. I was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t think straight.
