Chinese Conversation – Lesson 13

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

The next day, Jun and the Robinsons are having breakfast
Jun: This breakfast is huge! Are all Mormon breakfasts this big?
Laura: Ones in good households, at least. A Mormon woman’s most basic purpose is being a good wife and mother. So I do my best every single day.
Jun: Wow. It’s not like that in Taiwan anymore. Most women are too busy with their jobs.
Laura: Really? I thought some of you Chinese had family values like we do. I guess you’re losing your heritage. Pity.
Jun: I guess so. Anyway, is everyone in Utah a Mormon?
