(BEIJING, Jan. 29) – The 80,000 seats of the National Stadium — the architectural centerpiece of the Olympic Games and also known as the “Bird’s Nest” for its distinct appearance — have been installed on the stands as of January 28, 2008.

Made of modified polypropylene, the seats have shown excellent performance in flexural strength and impact strength tests, and they are customized to offer comfort to the spectators. And the colors of the seats will remain fade-resistant for three years under ultraviolet radiation.
